Tighten Your Core

During the past couple of years I've discovered the art of Yoga. I can't emphasize enough all of the amazing health and emotional benefits you receive from the practice. Not only does it strengthen your core yet it also opens a gateway to your creativity and removes negative energy blocks. During hard times, especially during a recession it's important to keep a positive attitude and outlook on life. Discover your inner practice and goddess; you'll gain a glowing complexion. 
About a year ago I came across an amazing Yoga teacher, Ashley Albrand. She encompasses every trait of free spirit which I greatly admire. She's also a professional (hip hop) dancer. Once combined yoga and dance are an amazing combination. Here's the link to Ashley Albrand's blog:

What makes a Horseshoe Lucky?

Last weekend I was the mall with my little sister; specifically looking for a cute pair of studs. We came across a really cute pair of horseshoe earrings. I immediately advised her that we needed to take the pair... everyone knows horseshoes bring good luck... yet what makes them lucky? I realized I didn't really know the answer.... Sunday Night... Movie Night.. DRIVE

So Usually Sunday night is movie night. Last night I watched Drive, starring Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan. After watching the preview I was expecting a Gone in 60 seconds meets Fast and the Furious type of film. To my surprise (as well as the entire audience) it was definitely more of a Kill Bill meets Taken and Italian Job type of film. The soundtrack was awesome and the cinematography was excellent as well; very artsy.
Definitely a slow start.. unravels into a unique action film. There's not much of a dialogue between characters; the music creates the scenes. Oh, and just a warning some scenes are a bit gory just an FYI. Fasten your seat belts and come to your best conclusion.

What Hippie Cowgirl is all About

Hi everyone, it's my pleasure to finally launch a venture I had in mind for quite sometime. A blog that's able to bring insight and hopefully helpful tips that enhance everyday life. From a word of the day to... answering questions such as why high fructose corn syrup is supposed to be harmful? As as young woman I listen to tips and advice pretty much on a daily basis...  All day long I have questions that stem from great advice... I figure I'd do my best to answer them... from wellness, to movies, to beauty and makeup tips... anything... I'm just not so great great at geometry... so I'll steer clear from any specific angles.
Writing allows to be free.. I'm definitely a free spirit looking reach my full potential; hopefully my "research" helps you along your journey. So with that said.. I hope you'll enjoy my posts..
